N.C. system to install MetaVision

Albemarle Health, in Elizabeth City, N.C., will deploy iMDsoft’s MetaVision Anesthesia Information Management System (AIMS) tool throughout its pre- and intra-operative environments to standardize and assist data collection and track performance measures.

The MetaVision AIMS tool generates an anesthesia record that includes tracking of events, patient medications and procedures. AIMS will be installed in 12 anesthetic locations, according to iMDsoft, of Needham, Mass.

myMV, iMDsoft’s web-based communication platform, will also be used to streamline pre-operative data collection and evaluation from the surgeon’s offices via internet-based forms, the company added.
