N.C. hospital taps Philips for 3T MR

CarolinaEast Medical Center in New Bern, N.C, plans to install Philips Healthcare Ingenia 3T MR system.

Philips Ingenia is a digital broadband MR scanner with a 70-cm bore and large scan field of view. The system allows scanning various parts of the body and accommodates more patient types since it can fit people who have high body mass indexes, according to Andover, Mass.-based Philips.
