Native iPad app powers cloud-based speech recognition

Nuance Communications and MedMaster Mobile have released the MedMaster Mobility iPad application through Nuance Healthcare’s medical speech recognition.

MedMaster Mobility, an EHR-agnostic mobile interface, gives clinicians access to eight workflow applications: My Schedule, My Patients, My Workups, prescriptions, billing, SOAP, My Contacts and My Resources, according to the companies. By using Nuance’s medical speech recognition from the cloud tool, clinicians can interact with and control the app through speech-driven clinical documentation and voice navigation commands.
