Maine center rolls out compliance system

Dorothea Dix Psychiatric Center in Bangor, Maine, has implemented Wolters Kluwer Health's VeriForm for its audit inspections.

The center, a state psychiatric hospital under the Maine State Department of Health and Human Services, will use Veriform to document and report on compliance and patient safety issues, according to Wolters Kluwer.

VeriForm is a checklist management system that also provides a reporting tool, enabling managers to run real-time reports to monitor trends in compliance by hospital area or criteria, the company added.
