KPMG completes Beacon Partners acquisition

KPMG has completed the acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Beacon Partners, a healthcare consulting firm that offers strategic management and clinical and information technology consulting services to healthcare providers. The deal enhances KPMG's capabilities to meet the needs of healthcare providers, which are facing a much more complex operating environment as reimbursement moves from "volume to value." "The influx of new personnel also gives us added capacity in our healthcare performance improvement and compliance services, further enhancing our ability to provide end-to-end solutions for healthcare providers to improve clinical quality and drive efficiency," said Liam Walsh, KPMG's U.S. Advisory Industry Leader, Healthcare & Life Science, in a release
