Kardia introduces Web-based CVIS
Health IT firm Kardia Health Systems has launched ConnectedCare, an online, fee-per-study cardiovascular information system (CVIS).
The Minneapolis-based company said its software combines structured reporting PACS in an online solution as a cardiology image management system, which includes remote archiving, viewing, analysis and structured reporting.
The Web-based software gives cardiologists the capability to access DICOM images, edit and sign-off on their structured reports in any location, Kardia said. ConnectedCare’s technology identifies the studies cardiologists are expected to review, fetches them across the network and caches them onto the physician’s computer in advance.
