Ittycheria joins athenahealth's board

athenahealth has named Dev Ittycheria to its board of directors, increasing the number of directors to eight, according to the Watertown, Mass.-based developer of web-based practice management, EHR and patient communication services to medical groups.

Ittycheria has served as president of the enterprise service management division of BMC Software's systems management business, and was co-founder, president and CEO of BladeLogic, an enterprise software company that was sold to BMC for approximately $900 million in 2008.
