iCAD's revenue decline in Q3
iCAD reported a drop of in revenue in the third quarter of 2009, which ended Sept. 30.
The Nashua, N.H.-based company posted total revenue of 7.1 million in the third quarter, more than $4 million less than the $11.2 million reported in the same quarter a year ago. Net income for the quarter was $113,000, compared to the $2.1 million posted in the third quarter of 2008.
iCAD, a provider of image analysis and workflow solutions, reported $4.8 million in digital computer-aided detection (CAD) and MRI revenue in the third quarter, down from the $8.2 million posted in the year-ago quarter. Film-based revenue declined to $1.3 million from $2.2 million a year ago.
