HMS finds a partner in RegionalCare

RegionalCare Hospital Partners, a Brentwood, Tenn.-based health system, has selected Healthcare Management Systems (HMS) to provide clinical and financial applications to its hospitals to support RegionalCare’s expansion plans.

RegionalCare currently operates hospitals in Alabama, Iowa and Ohio, and is focused on providing hospitals with financial resources and management expertise, HMS, of Nashville, Tenn., stated.

Under the new agreement, RegionalCare will also install the HMS Emergency Department Information System in some of its hospitals. Clinical and financial applications will be delivered by HMS Direct, the wholly owned HMS subsidiary that hosts and manages HMS applications, the company added.
