Hitachi lands Cali install

Valley Radiology Imaging (VRI), a subsidiary of Los Angeles-based outpatient imaging service RadNet, has selected Hitachi Medical Systems America for its high-field open MRI.

According to Tokyo-based Hitachi, VRI has installed its 1.2T Hitachi Oasis Open MRI, and the system is being utilized to image patients who have had challenges tolerating exams in traditional MRI units, as well as for advanced musculoskeletal, neurological and vascular exams.
