HIMSS: Health Language to showcase terminology tools

Health Language (Booth 1821) is demonstrating three medical terminology products that enable hospitals and health systems to meet Stage 1 meaningful use measures, during the 2011 HIMSS show Feb. 20 to 24 in Orlando, Fla.

The Denver-based company said the products include:
  • Language Engine Access Portal (LEAP), which simplifies mapping, translation and standardization of medical terminologies and code sets.
  • LEAP I-10, a web-based mapping tool to prepare for, identify and address the financial, technology and operational impact of transitioning from ICD-9 to ICD-10.
  • Provider Friendly Terminology, a code set and tools that automatically map terms to standardized medical terminologies and billing classifications.
