Gage named MEDecision president, CEO

Deborah M. Gage has been named the president and CEO of health IT software developer MEDecision.

Gage replaces David St. Clair, the company’s founder, who will continue in a consulting role during the leadership transition and will remain a member of the Wayne, Pa.-based MEDecision’s board of directors.

Gage holds both a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor where she is chair of the Women’s Leadership Council and a member of the Ross School of Business Visiting Committee. Recently, she served as president and CEO of GTESS in Dallas, a SaaS (software-as-a-service) provider of payment technology applications for healthcare payors.
