FDA approves Vasomedical's ECG Holter, blood pressure system

Vasomedical, which develops non-invasive treatment for the management of cardiovascular diseases, has received FDA 510(k) clearance to market its Vasomedical-BIOX Model 2301 Combined ECG Holter and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring recorder and software analysis system.

Last year, the Vasomedical BIOX Model 1305 Holter monitor and analysis software received FDA clearance.

The Vasomedical BIOX 2301 is a personal combined system to record and store ECG and blood pressure data for 24 hours, according to the Westbury, N.Y.-based company.
