Everything is bigger in Texas, and that includes sports medicine

The Dallas Cowboys football franchise is partnering with the biggest not-for-profit healthcare system in the Lone Star State to build and run a hulking sports medicine and research complex with a footprint stretching out over a 300,000-square-foot campus.

The site is to include an imaging center that will feature GE Healthcare’s MRI innovations around head health, a growing concern of the NFL in recent years—although the facility will serve not just professional athletes but also everyday Texans (and, presumably, sports-medicine tourists) who are physically active and wish to stay that way.
