LONDON, Dec. 31, 2014 -- The study covers the eHealth initiatives across the emerging markets in Asia-Pacific. Government initiatives and incentives that encourage technology adoption in healthcare are key drivers for private sector investment in the Asia-Pacific eHealth industry. However, inadequate infrastructure and regulatory framework development have adversely affected market growth. The current report highlights key government projects across emerging APAC countries to support healthcare digitization.

Methodology

-The purpose of this research was to conduct a qualitative evaluation of healthcare information technology (IT) policies, initiatives and regulations across emerging markets in Asia-Pacific (APAC).-Opinions presented in this research are based on in-depth interviews conducted with key opinion leaders (KOLs) such as representative of health ministries and standards organizations across each country in scope.-Additionally, secondary sources such as Frost & Sullivan content, ministry of health websites and public databases were used for further inputs.
