ECR: Setred highlights 3D visualization technology

Setred introduced its 3D visualization solution developed for the medical industry, the Setred MD20-3D display and Samurai 3D medical imaging software, at the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) 2010, in Vienna, from March 4–8.

The London-based company said that the 20-inch workstation display and interactive software is for volume visualization of medical images, compatible with DICOM-compatible datasets, including CT, MRI, PET, 3D angiography and 3D ultrasound.

The display and software will allow radiologists and other medical professionals to view more patient images at a time without the need for special goggles or headgear, said the company.
