A new report from The New York Times shows that large majorities of physicians in certain medical fields tend to share the same political ideologies—and that those beliefs could affect how they treat patients.
Surgeons, anesthesiologists and urologists tend to be Republicans, whereas psychiatrists and pediatricians tend to be Democrat.The data comes from research done at Yale University that compared party registration and doctor listings.
