Delve Health introduces cloud-based research management

Delve Health has developed a cloud-based clinical research management system that can trying to provide information on clinical trials and drug development pipelines.

Called Study Pal, the system provides all the information including protocol overview, device and drug procedure training material and study communications all into the cloud. The cloud system can then be accessed through a smartphone.

Study Pal users are given a username and password for security to login. When entering data, they are given a choice on which data is included and which is not along with defining the key study procedures and data collection requirements. They can create flow charts and upload videos and animations for each study as well as contacting the staff of the study through email, call or text through using the app. Users can create study visits schedules and track who have logged into the study.

"We were thrilled to release the Study Pal to our clinical sites," said Jennifer Englund, VP of Clinical & Regulatory Affairs at Mardil Medical.  "In a time where people always have their phones with them, I am surprised our industry is still printing laminated tip cards to share study information with clinical sites.  This tool allows us to share and easily update key study information, and assure there is never confusion associated with version control when protocol and procedures change.  As a small company, this tool also gives us a very professional and polished way to communicate with our customers. It is a great resource for our internal team, monitors and physician advisors as well."
