DB Technology, BridgeHead align for healthcare data management

DB Technology and BridgeHead Software have partnered to manage clinical and administrative data at healthcare facilities in North America.

The partnership teams document management and workflow automation from DB Technology, of Clark, N.J., with the storage virtualization capabilities of BridgeHead.

From document capture, process, access and distribution through document management, storage and protection, the combined technology will enable health IT departments to build a comprehensive data repository that underpins the EHR and manages the content lifecycle, the companies stated.

RASi, the document imaging component in DB Technology’s RAS platform, scans and manages electronic and hard copy patient accounting and clinical reports and documents from disparate systems and stores that information in an electronic patient folder for retrieval and distribution, DB Tehnology stated.

The Woburn, Mass.-based BridgeHead said its FileStore EHR secures the EPFs on the most appropriate storage device, employing its advanced policy engine to manage the data across storage tiers and locations.
