CommonWell Alliance grows again

Membership in the CommonWell Health Alliance keeps climbing. Another four health IT companies have signed on for a total membership of 33 organizations.

The new members "strengthen our representation in the ever-important oncology, telehealth and EMS as well as non-emergency medical transportation markets," according Nick Knowlton, vice president, business development of Brightree, who serves as chair of the CommonWell membership committee.

The companies are the following:

ESO Solutions (contributor) develops technology for connecting pre-hospital emergency medicine to the rest of the care continuum, including an EHR and an interoperability platform

Beyond Lucid (general member) develops emergency medical services and medical transportation software

MYidealDOCTOR's (general member) telehealth platform offers patients 24/7 direct links to physician consults and diagnosis

Varian Medical Systems (general member) manufactures medical devices and software for treating cancer and other medical conditions with radiation
