Colorado med center signs IT contract with CareTech

San Luis Valley Regional Medical Center, a 57-bed regional medical center and level IV trauma center in Alamosa, Colo., has signed a five-year IT outsourcing contract with CareTech Solutions.

CareTech's outsourcing contract with San Luis Valley includes IT infrastructure and application management (strategic planning, performance measurement, problem solving, testing and resolution), network and server monitoring and a healthcare-specific helpdesk with clinician support, according to CareTech, of Troy, Mich.
