Apollo PACS, Inc. is Now Apollo Enterprise Imaging Corp

Falls Church, VA – Feb. 16, 2016 – Apollo PACS, the pioneer in enterprise imaging and clinical multimedia management solutions has announced it has changed its name to Apollo Enterprise Imaging Corp, to better convey its expertise. Originally focused on specialty solutions, Apollo Enterprise Imaging Corp has significantly expanded its enterprise imaging know-how as it developed Apollo EPMM® (Enterprise Patient Multimedia Manager). As the current flagship product, Apollo EPMM encompasses the capture, storage, viewing and sharing of all clinical imaging and multimedia found across the healthcare enterprise.

Apollo Enterprise Imaging Corp recently introduced its new FDA approved diagnostic viewer, Apollo ResolutionMD®, which is fully integrated into Apollo EPMM.  Apollo EPMM provides clinicians a single integrated solution to capture, share, edit, and maintain the entire clinical multimedia spectrum generated by all subspecialties across the healthcare enterprise, including traditional radiology and cardiology. Apollo EPMM streamlines workflows across 45 clinical specialties and is the only solution that can enhance clinical collaboration by enabling healthcare professionals to access their patients’ original clinical multimedia content and results through the EMR or directly via the Apollo platform.

“Because PACS connotes department specific DICOM image management and Apollo EPMM spans all imaging departments across the enterprise, we realized the term PACS in our corporate identity was misleading,” notes Mark Newburger, Apollo President & CEO. “The Apollo EPMM solution does much more than typical PACS, including capture, viewing and storage of non-DICOM clinical multimedia in its native format.”

Apollo will be exhibiting at the 2016 HIMSS Conference and Exhibition in Las Vegas, March 1-3. To see a demonstration of Apollo EPMM and ResolutionMD at the HIMSS Conference, schedule time to visit us in Booth 651.
