Radcal to distribute Leeds Test Objects new dental CT phantom

Monrovia, Calif.-based Radcal, best known as a manufacturer of radiation measuring systems, has agreed to distribute the Sedentex CT Mini imaging phantom manufactured by Leeds Test Objects of North Yorkshire, England.

The product is used to perform routine measurements of cone-beam CT scanners used in dental applications.

Radcal said in a news release that the body of the cylindrical device allows for evaluations of noise and uniformity, while a test feature in the center of the cylinder is used to measure pixel intensity values.
