Hospitals share top health IT vendors to work with in the Best in KLAS 2022 list

KLAS Research, a healthcare information technology market research firm, released its 2022 Best in KLAS report, which covers more than 1,000 health IT informatics solutions. The report offers a list of the top "Best in KLAS" companies to work with based on feedback from end users at the healthcare systems that use the software.

The hospitals and other healthcare facilities that share their perspectives in KLAS interviews help vendors improve and help their peers make better technology buying decisions, explained Adam Gale, president of KLAS Research.

"These conversations are a constant reminder to me of how necessary accurate, honest, and impartial reporting is in the healthcare industry," Gale said. "The Best in KLAS report and the awards it contains set the standard of excellence for software and services firms. The Best in KLAS award serves as a signal to provider and payer organizations that they should expect excellence from the winning vendors.”

Below are some of the key health informatics rankings for technologies used across the hospital enterprise categories. Find more information and rankings on the KLAS website.

California-based Acutus Medical has said its ongoing agreement to manufacture and distribute left-heart access devices for Medtronic is the company's only source of revenue.

The scam took place over a period of seven years, resulting in Medicare being billed for more than $70 million in fraudulent claims for unnecessary scans.

Compensation for heart specialists continues to climb. What does this say about cardiology as a whole? Could private equity's rising influence bring about change? We spoke to MedAxiom CEO Jerry Blackwell, MD, MBA, a veteran cardiologist himself, to learn more.
