Apple technology spreading quickly in top hospitals

Major U.S. hospitals are quickly adopting Apple healthcare technology, in particular Apple's HealthKit service, reports Reuters.

Fourteen of 23 top hospitals contacted by the news service said they have rolled out or plan to roll out a pilot program of Apple's HealthKit service, which stores patient-generated health data like blood pressure, weight or heart rate.
