U.S. healthcare spending growth slowest since 1960
U.S. healthcare spending rose 3.6 percent in 2013, which is the slowest rate on record since 1960, reports The Hill.
Overall healthcare spending remained largely the same from 2012 to 2013, while per person expenditure was $9,522 in 2013, up from $8,915 in 2012, according to a report from by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
