Pricetag of HealthCare.gov tops $2B
The cost of the federal health insurance exchange’s portal is now estimated to be more than $2 billion, according to an analysis by Bloomberg Government, reports The Hill.
Implementation of the Affordable Care Act has cost the country $73 billion since it was put into place in 2010, the analysis also found. These figures are significantly higher than previous estimates offered by the Department of Health & Human Services and the White House.
