Bill seeks to repeal taxes on health insurers
Members of the House of Representatives have introduced a bill that would repeal a tax on health insurance companies, The Hill reports.
Republican Charles Boustany Jr. and Democrat Kyrsten Sinema are attempting to get rid of the tax, which was implemented as part of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act in March 2010.
The tax is expected to raise $14.3 billion in 2018, up from $8.0 billion in 2014.
