W. Va. REC selects Greenway EHR

The West Virginia Regional Health IT Extension Center has selected Greenway Medical Technologies’ PrimeSUITE 2011 EHR, practice management and interoperability tools to enhance clinical performance across the organization.

A $6 million grant from the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT is being used to promote the adoption and use of health IT to enhance healthcare delivery and improve patient outcomes across the entire state of West Virginia. The Regional Extension Center, based in Cross Lanes, W. Va., has selected Greenway as a preferred vendor, stated the Carrollton, Ga.-based company.

As many as 1,000 providers across West Virginia who join the resource center will receive implementation, best practice guidance and demonstrations of selected EHRs such as Greenway’s PrimeSUITE toward advancing health IT, Greenway added.
