Machine learning, AI are coming for healthcare

Machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) are playing increasing large roles in technological developments in healthcare. Megan Williams, of Samsung Business Insights, examines how machine learning will impact the industry.

"Healthcare analytics holds amazing potential in the revenue cycle space, where the impact of financial interactions on the entire patient experience is just beginning to be understood," she wrote. "Since that space provides a relatively less complex environment for the application of AI, expect to see especially speedy innovations there and in other non-clinical areas of the industry."
