Healthcare costs to increase 6% for large employers for third straight year
Healthcare costs are estimated to increase by 6 percent for large employers in the U.S. The bump is in line with previous years but still twice the rate of inflation.
The growth is slightly less than the 9 percent increase in premiums for plans on the ACA marketplaces, according to the Kaiser Family Foundation. But the 6 percent increase for large employers still outpaces major economic indicators.
