FICO acquires CR Software

FICO, a Minneapolis-based developer of analytics and decision management technology, has acquired CR Software, a developer of enterprise collections and recovery technologies for credit issuers, government organizations, collection agencies, retailers and healthcare providers.

According to a release, the transaction has closed, and terms are not being disclosed.

Fairfax, Va.-based CR Software currently supports more than 300 public and private organizations, including the State of Oregon, the State of Mississippi, the State of Maryland, NCO, Schumacher Group, Sallie Mae and Genpact.

CR Software's principal product, the Titanium ORE (Open Receivables Environment) serves as a System of Record, an extension of the user's host system that automates and coordinates collections and recovery operations across the enterprise.
