Caspio releases chart, dashboard apps

Caspio has made available new chart applications to create visual web-based charts and dashboards for any database and assist users' understanding of large data sets.

Caspio's chart apps combine data search, customizable reporting and publishing capabilities already built into the Mountain View, Calif.-based company’s platform.

Users can embed multiple charts on the same web page to create dashboards with features such as ad hoc search, filtering controls, record drill-down and data download. The charts are compatible with any website, blog, content management system or mobile site and do not utilize Adobe Flash, Caspio added.

Chart application features also include:
  • Various chart types including line, bar, pie, spline, column and step;
  • Data aggregation support for sum, average, counts and min/max; and
  • Customizable chart labels and grouping.
