Anthem investing $38B in move toward value-based payments

Anthem is ramping up its value-based payments to providers. The insurer announced that it investing $38 billion in additional funding to move away from fee-for-service medicine, reports Forbes

“We’re changing the way providers and insurers interact with one another to lower medical costs,” said Anthem chief executive officer Joe Swedish, according to the story.
