Viztek technology selected by mobile rad service

Healthcare IT provider Viztek has been selected by Paris, Texas-based radiology service PDQ Mobile X-Ray for its Opal–RAD web-based PACS and Opal-CR offerings.

The mobile x-ray service--which acquires and reads exams for nursing homes, imaging centers and private practices in central and northeast Texas, southeast Oklahoma and southwest Arkansas--will utilize the PACS and the desktop CR scanners for the transmission of images and results and mobile exam acquisitions, stated Garner, N.C.-based Viztek.
