Rural Neb. hospital to deploy Healthland EHR

Dundy County Hospital, a 14-bed critical access facility with two clinics, which serves southwestern Nebraska, northeastern Colorado and portions of Kansas, has purchased Healthland’s inpatient EHR.

The hospital expects to be live on Healthland Inpatient EHR and to meet the requirements for Stage 1 meaningful use by the third quarter of 2011, the Minneapolis-based health IT provider stated.

Dundy selected Healthland for its ease of use, integration capabilities and single chart per patient across the continuum of care, according to the hospital.

The Healthland Inpatient EHR is a central repository for all patient information and automates information management at every point of patient care from admission through discharge, the company said.
