Oregon REC enlists Gateway EDI

OCHIN, parent of Oregon’s Health Information Technology Regional Extension Center (O-HITEC), has entered an agreement with Gateway EDI, a provider of claims processing and electronic data interchange (EDI) services.

Gateway EDI’s integrated claims management service will enable providers to save time and money by reducing payor errors and improving payment turnaround time, St. Louis, Mo.-based Gateway EDI stated.

Funded through a federal ARRA grant, OCHIN/O-HITEC has developed a suite of free and low-cost services to help Oregon’s primary care providers in small practices meet meaningful use requirements, according to OCHIN, of Portland, Ore.
