ONC launches Blue Button video challenge

The Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) has invited the public to participate in the Blue Button video challenge.

Participants are asked to submit video clips two minutes in length or shorter that could potentially raise awareness of the Blue Button initiative and inspire viewers to learn more about it, according to a notice published Sept. 25 in the Federal Register.

Submissions will be judged based on creativity, potential impact and implementation and six winners will receive a total of more than $8,000 in prizes. The deadline for submissions is Nov. 13.

The complete notice is available online.
