N.M. REC enlists Sage as EHR vendor

The New Mexico Health Information Technology Regional Extension Center (HITREC) has selected Sage Healthcare Division as a qualified EHR provider.

The New Mexico HITREC is working to enroll more than 1,000 qualified healthcare providers throughout the state to help ease their transition to EHRs. More than 600 primary care and family practice providers have enrolled to receive technical assistance to help their practices qualify for meaningful use EHR incentive payments, according to Sage Healthcare Division, a Tampa, Fla.-based provider of clinical and financial technology solutions.

The company's Sage Intergy Meaningful Use Edition EHR will be made available to physicians participating in the HITREC, which is a consortium of three nonprofit organizations: LCF Research, the New Mexico Medical Review Association and the New Mexico Primary Care Association.
