Konica Minolta previews wireless DR offering

Radiography technology provider Konica Minolta Medical & Graphic has developed a new wireless DR system.

According to the Tokyo-based company, the cassette-sized system has the same dimensions as a 14 x 17 ISO4090 compliant film cassette, allowing it to fit an existing wall-stand or table bucky tray. The flat-panel detector offers a Cesium Iodide scintillator, extended battery life and low x-ray dosage to the patient.

The system is pending FDA clearance in the U.S.
