InterSystems acquires Italian health IT company

InterSystems has acquired Prosa, which is a part of Gruppo Sistem, an Italian healthcare technology company, for an undisclosed sum.

A previous InterSystems technology partner, Prosa is based in Cesena, and provides implementation and support services to healthcare organizations in Italy, primarily those located in the Emilia Romagna and Veneto Area regions.

The companies see a combination in their efforts of local implementation, project management and maintenance of critical hospital systems.
