Hawaii Public Safety Department selects eClinicalWorks EMR

The State of Hawaii’s Public Safety Department has selected eClinicalWorks’ EMR system to help manage healthcare in seven correctional facilities.

eClinicalWorks EMR will allow the department to streamline operations via its reporting capabilities and the ability to share data among seven facilities—four jails and three prisons—on four islands. This will help ensure continuity of care for approximately 4,200 inmates, according to the Westborough, Mass. company.

The EMR will permit providers to utilize chronic care management and preventative care measures, including unique measures such as suicide watch alerts. The eClinicalWorks EMR will also provide intake screening process flows and a behavioral health module, the company said.
