FDA clears Fujfilm's flat-panel cassette dector

The FDA has issued 510(k) clearance to Fujifilm Medical Systems for its FDR D-EVO, a flat-panel cassette detector.

At six pounds, the 14-inch x 17-inch cassette-sized detector addresses lateral or other cassette-based exams as needed, said the Stamford, Conn-based company.
