EHR initiative leads to IT staff cuts at Pa. hospital

Reading Health System, the largest employer in Berks County, Pennsylvania, has reduced its IT staff.

Now that the initial build and implementation of its EHR system, Reading HealthConnect, are complete, fewer employees are needed to maintain legacy systems. The Reading Eagle covered the story on the organization's IT changes.
