Aprima and Technology Solutions Provider, Inc. Partner to Provide Physicians with a Platform as a Service Solution to Host their EHR
Aprima Medical Software and Technology Solutions Provider, Inc. (TSPi), today announced a partnership to provide physician practices an option to use TSPi's MicroCloud Platform as a Service (PaaS) solution to host their Aprima EHR (electronic health record) system.

MicroCloud's on-premise 'hosted' solution is an ideal alternative for those practices who do not want to manage their own IT systems, but where offsite hosting is not a viable option, due to facility issues or lack of high-speed Internet access. The MicroCloud package includes on-premise servers, as well as system management and backup.
Aprima EHR has been tested and performance validated to run on MicroCloud and is now a recommended solution for those practices that prefer to have their EHR on-premise, rather than off-site, but do not want to make a large upfront IT investment. MicroCloud combines such features as full professional management, HIPAA compliance with encryption, high availability and disaster recovery backups. On-premise hosting is an important option for healthcare organizations where large amounts of data are generated, such as with imaging, or in environments with limited bandwidth. Having MicroCloud on-premise provides all of the benefits and peace of mind of an off-site hosted solution, but at the speed of the user's local network.
"TSPi is very excited to be working Aprima," said Vishal Suri, CEO of TSPi. "There are many physician practices where an on-premise PaaS option for their EHR system makes the most sense. We look forward to being able to provide Aprima's users with a proven, and performance tested, turnkey option at an affordable price, with no upfront costs."
According to Neil Simon, chief operating officer at Aprima, "Aprima is excited to work with TSPi to offer our customers an on-premise solution that is professionally managed, allows them to have their data stored locally and enables them to meet the requirements of the latest HIPAA mandates."
