Driscoll Childrens Health Plan selects Sandlot for HIE

Driscoll Children’s Health Plan will use Sandlot’s SandlotConnect health information exchange (HIE) technology to streamline data sharing throughout the Driscoll healthcare community.

Driscoll Children’s Health Plan, a licensed health maintenance organization based in Corpus Christi, Texas, provides healthcare services to children in the state’s Coastal Bend region. SandlotConnect will streamline data sharing among pediatric practices, Driscoll Children’s Hospital and the health plan, according to the Fort Worth, Texas-based company.

Driscoll Children’s Health Plan will incorporate Sandlot products and services including:

  • Physician access to patient-specific, community-wide clinical data at the point of care
  • Implementation, training and adoption services for physicians and staff
  • System integration services for EncounterPro EMR, EpicCare EMR and multiple laboratory and radiology systems
  • Patient-matching services to resolve integration discrepancies
  • Help-desk services for technical and end-user support
