Indiana hospital's email hacked

A cyberattack on hospital employees' email accounts has compromised the information of about 4,400 patients in Indiana. St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville, shut down the email accounts as soon as they learned about the hack in January. The emails accessed contained customer information that includes names, dates of birth, dates of service, Social Security numbers, and health and insurance information, according to an article at the Evansville Courier & Press. Hackers gained access through a fraudulent email exchange, according to the article.
