More providers sign on to CommonWell
Three more providers have signed on to use CommonWell Health Alliance services to assist with their interoperability efforts.
Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk, Ohio, Beacon Health System in South Bend Ind., and Circle Health in Lowell, Mass., all operate on Cerner's EHR.
Fisher-Titus is the first all-digital smart community hospital in the U.S. and includes a 99-bed acute care hospital, Level III trauma center, skilled nursing facility, assisted living, home health center and outpatient services.
Beacon operates Elkhart General Hospital and Memorial Hospital of South Bend, facilities that have been providing care throughout north central Indiana and southwestern Michigan for more than 100 years.
Circle Health operates Lowell General Hospital where CommonWell services will allow individuals using its inpatient and outpatient facilities to give their doctors and nurses access to medical records from outside healthcare organizations that participate in CommonWell.
Services offered by CommonWell include patient identification and linking, record location and retrieval through a virtual table of contents, patient access, privacy and consent management and trusted data access through authentication portals.
