Serious privacy concerns loom over the federal health insurance exchange, as applicants may unwittingly expose certain information to third-party data companies, reports ABC News.

When consumers apply for health coverage on the site, such outside companies can glean personal details such as age, income, zip code and whether they smoke or are pregnant, according to the story.
