Greenway Health announces partnership with PGA TOUR professional Blayne Barber

Greenway Health announced today its corporate sponsorship of PGA TOUR professional Blayne Barber, one of golf’s rising stars. Beginning with the Sony Open Jan. 15-18 at the Waialae Golf Course in Honolulu, the Greenway Health logo will be featured on shirts worn by Barber at each event in which he plays.

“Greenway applauds Blayne Barber as a competitive player and a consummate professional who lives his life according to the highest standards,” said Greenway Health CEO Tee Green. “Blayne reflects the core values that are at the heart of Greenway Health, and he’s one of the most promising players to emerge in professional golf. We look forward to our mutual successes serving as a reflection of our shared commitment to work hard, lead and always be the best that we can be.”

Barber noted that “Representing Greenway is a privilege and an honor. Greenway Health has been tireless in its efforts to advance information technology that makes a true difference in the health of our nation, and its brand is one of the most trusted in healthcare. I look forward to representing the company and its customers on the course.”

Greenway’s partnership with Barber continues the company’s sponsorship of professional golfers. For the past three-plus years, Greenway® has sponsored PGA TOUR professional Jason Dufner, alongside him through his 2012 PGA TOUR wins at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans and the HP Byron Nelson Championship, and continuing through his exciting 2013 PGA Championship win and other accomplishments. “We’ve been extremely proud to be Jason’s sponsor during his meteoric rise,” Green said.

"There are many similarities between healthcare and golf," Green said. “Both require intense passion and dedication, years of training, and the potential for achieving both personal and professional success. With physicians, it comes from knowing that you’ve saved lives and improved people’s quality of life. For golfers, it comes from those times when everything aligns and you know you’ve performed to your highest potential. It’s no wonder that golf remains both a relaxing and challenging activity for so many physicians, and we’re proud to continue to be associated with the sport and its best representatives.”
